1950's: Building Years

Read more about the previous history of "The Bridge" on the History Page. The 50's were building years following the 1953 tragic accident killing three spectators on the road course. A purposed track was the goal! Very passionate and courageous people built Bridgehampton Raceway beginning in 1957. View the gallery below.
